What we've got here is a dark elf type character, possibly inspired by the Drow of Dungeons and Dragons or the Night Elves (or whatever you call them) from World of Warcraft. However, the picture quickly takes it's own direction.

What stands out most for me in this picture is the use of color. The light green stands out magnificently against the gray skin and it goes very well with her long pink hair. Really, the use of color here is what sold me on the pick. Though, now that I think about it, it's kind of water melon themed. Her amber eyes are a nice touch. The costume design works well with the color themes, spreading them out to the most effective spots and allowing them to compliment or contrast as needed.

Very good job on her expression. While the birds look fine, not at all sure why you put them in. I am making allowances for the fact this is a character design piece. However, if you do this character again, I would like to see you crank it up a notch and have her doing something, through in some background, etc.

Oh, and giving her name rather than "elf girl" would be nice.
